Data Deletion
Last updated: September 14, 2026
InFocus keeps app settings on your Mac. Our website stores the purchase records needed to fulfil licences and resolve billing issues. This page explains how to request deletion.
Data on your Mac
Your settings, trial state, and license record are stored locally on your Mac. To remove them, delete the app from /Applications, remove the "InFocus" entry from your Keychain, and delete the app's preferences (the com.matgc.infocus preference domain and the InFocus folder in Application Support). No request to us is needed — this data never leaves your Mac.
License and purchase records — held by Dodo Payments
When you buy InFocus, the purchase and license records (your email address, order details, and license key) are created and held by Dodo Payments, the merchant of record. Our website also stores checkout and payment references, licence status, and consent evidence. To request deletion:
- Email us at support@mattmade.ai from your purchase email address and ask for your license record to be deleted. We will review our purchase records, request deletion with Dodo Payments on your behalf, and explain which records can be deleted or must be retained. Note that deleting the license record permanently deactivates your license.
- Or contact Dodo Payments / Link directly. Customers can request deletion of their transaction data through Dodo Payments' own support channels — see dodopayments.com and their privacy policy for details, or use the contact information in your order confirmation email.
Dodo Payments may need to retain certain transaction records where required by law (for example, tax and accounting rules), as described in their privacy policy.
